This summer has been sizzling! Congrats and thanks to our awesome youth and leaders on their summer mission trips down to Miami. However, there is still more going this summer that we don’t want anyone to miss!
            Some of you have heard about or even experienced the Walk to Emmaus, a weekend spiritual retreat that is filled with surprises of God’s love. Did you know they have the same for youth? Many of our youth have already done this through the Chrysalis Flight version for high school students aged 15 and over. I’m not exaggerating when I say, this has been one of the most life changing experiences they have had. Scholarships are available. Here is the upcoming schedule:

Girls Chrysalis Flight July 16-18th (registration deadline is July 2nd!!!)

Boys Chrysalis Flight August 6-8th (registration deadline is July 23rd!!!)

Ways to Be Involved

The Bible is clear that we are all called to be ministers. Therefore. if you are breathing. you are eligible to be involved at Good Shepherd. We are looking for people. If you have a heart for God and a love for students, then we want to talk to you. Call the Youth ministry office and we will set-up a time to meet and tell you more about the ministry.
